My favorite sport is basketball and I love it for many reasons.
In the first place, playing basketball makes my body perfect with keeping myself healthy and shaping my body. What's more, I always play it with my friends. It teaches me how to communicate with teammates and share things to others. Thirdly, sometimes we have some matches that we have to win which help me improve my competition conscious and we feel really happy when we win the game. Last but not least I also watch NBA, so I know a lot of NBA starts like Kobe and T-mac who teach me to be strong in both games and life.
In the end I want to thank basketball for bringing me so much fun.

As for the reasons, several points can be outlined as followed. First and foremost, it is popular and fashionable and many people consider it as an essential part of daily lives. Secondly, it can keep fit and help us build a healthy body. Last but not the least, it is beneficial to our eyes and decrease the risk of having near-sighted.
Once I have time. I often go to the swimming pool. It's really a joyful thing. I like swimming.
